Several Club members braved the rainy weather to meet at the Telephone Museum on the Jefferson Barracks campus. The museum occupies a former officer’s quarters house built in the 1880s and completely restored. It was conceived, funded, curated and run by former Southwestern Bell employees. The amount of telephone history artifacts on display is truly astounding, so if you haven’t been, make plans to do so. Every model of phone from the early days of AG Bell to more current phones and technology are on display.
